ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) 3D printer filamentALL ABS IS NOW MADE WITH PREMIUM RESIN!
Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) is one of the most popular plastics. It can be found in musical instruments, home appliances, toys, medical devices and even flat-screen TV’s and computer monitors. ABS is the plastic used in LEGO bricks. It is the second most common 3D printing filament behind PLA. The benefits of ABS include:
- Higher strength and flexibility compared to PLA
- Higher temperature resistance over PLA
- Ease of printing with heated bed
- Machinability allows for end-use parts
Recommended print settings:
- Hotend - 230-240 degrees C
- Bed - 110 degrees C
- Bed Treatment - Kapton tape with acetone/ABS slurry or PEI sheet
All filament is wound onto standard black reel, shrink wrapped with desiccant, and vacuum sealed in a 4mil bag.

I ordered 3 spools of filament, all 3 came in the same cardboard box and each spool was vacuum wrapped in plastic. All 3 plastic bags were torn and the filament printed incredibly poorly, with the Bronze being the worst. I had to dry the filament at 165F for over 15 hours for it to be usable. I won't be purchasing again while product is shipped like this.
I wanted some metallic ABS that came in gold, silver and bronze colors. It has printed very well and vapor smoothes easily.
This ABS is great. It prints smooth as silk and doesn't stink up the room. I have a Ender 3.
Bed temp = 100 deg.
Nozzle temp = 245
Speed = 30 mm/s
Nozzle size = .8
I use an enclosure and preheat until the enclosure reaches 100 Degrees C.
Ordered 2 rolls of Black ABS to test. Prints great at 245C extrusion, 110C bed temp. With a 60C chamber only limited adhesion issues were found, most likely due to Z offset rather than material issues. Filament is wound well, no tangling issues. Filament is consistent in size and loads/unloads easily. I'd be happy to try more ABS from them when needed.
Prints like a dream!
